For cameras, drones, and action cameras, the video speed class is important. V30 means at least 30 MB/s continuously – the lower limit for 4K recordings without interruptions. The Extreme PRO series meets this requirement and is also A2 certified.

For dash cams and surveillance cameras, a High-Endurance card is needed. These devices overwrite the same memory around the clock; standard cards are not designed for this and will fail after a few months.
